PERSONAL LETTER ch 6 pt.1

Personal letter or personal letter is a letter that is addressed from one individual to another individual that is personal or private. Personal letter writing is in an informal form with a language style that is not rigid and more friendly.

Types of Personal Letters and Sections.

1. Character reference letter.
2. Condolence letter.
3. Friendly letter.
4. Goodbye letter.
5. Love letter.
6. Apology letter.
7. Letter of complaint.
8. Congratulation letter.

Personal letter structure

1. Date
The date section is written on the top left. Date written to indicate when the letter was written.

2. Address
The address contains the location where the letter was written or the address from which the letter was sent. This section is written at the top right.

3. Salutation and Name
In this section, the author will insert the greeting and the name of the recipient of the letter. Example, Dear....; Dearest; Sweetheart; and others.

4. Introduction
The opening of the letter generally begins with a response to the previous letter. When new correspondence begins, the author can introduce himself first.

5. Body
In the content section, the author will tell what he wants to convey to the recipient of the letter.

6. Closure
The closing part indicates that the letter will end soon.

7. Complimentary Close This section contains a short closing greeting, for example With Love; sincerely yours, and others.

8. Signature
At the end of the letter, the author will put his signature or initials.

Songs are used to express feeling and idea in an entertaining world. Songs can be used to deliver social criticism. The moral values are hidden in the lyrics. The song also has linguistic characteristics, the first is imagery. Imagery describes about feelings and emotions. And the second is rhythm, the rhythm here is to regulate one's mood, such as sad, happy, etc. Figure of Speech Figurative Language that is usually found in a poem is used whenever you want to describe something by comparing it with something else. This figurative language is not only found in a poem, but most of the song writers also applied it in their composition. This figurative language which is usually used: Simile, Metaphor, Personification, Alliteration, Onomatopoeia, Hyperbole Phrasal Verbs.
